The Logic of English Words is an Etymology Education Vocabulary Book by Logophilia. It introduces you to the art of understanding English words, without using a dictionary. Originally published in 2012, this was the 3rd of the 14 books written by Logophilia. The Book gives a detailed introduction to Logophilia’s paedagogical method of Etymology Education, through 25 Greek and 25 Latin roots in English.

The Logic of English Words Book contains Greek and Latin Roots and their derivatives in the following format: a root (its meaning, language of origin, and illustration); and its derivatives (with, etymology, literal definition, effective definition, and respelled pronunciations). The Book fastidiously provides 20 derivatives for each root; plus etymologised definitions, pronunciations, & sample sentences. Within each of the derivatives, the root has been highlighted so that readers can clearly see the connection between the derivative with its original root. The College Vocabulary Programme has been meticulously designed to empower students towards become sophisticated language comprehenders, rather than mere rote memorisers.
