The Logophilia Fundamental Etymology Programme | Winter 2024

The Fundamental Etymology Workshop is Logophilia’s flagship workshop. The first workshop ever to be created in Logophilia (March, 2010), FEW brings together a rich and diverse thematic arrangement of Latin and Greek roots in English. We educate students on the etymological roots of words in English, as categorised under: The Natural Sciences; The Social Sciences; Language & Literature.

The Fundamental Etymology Workshop is an introduction to the how English Vocabulary is central to all subjects that we study and is therefore the most fundamental ability that was student must possess. The programme comprises a curriculum of 11-14 days of Vocabulary training through the method of Etymology Education, in which Logophilia is a world leader.
